God had mercy and is my strength and my shield! The very last few minutes of the last bag of treatment, caused a severe anaphylactic response. A sudden hot itchy rash from head to knees and my entire face, tongue, nose, and throat was swelling shut fast. They gave me more steroids and antihistamines through yhe IV. She asked how I was doing. I told her, scared but trying not to panic. Breathe in, breathe out, surrounded by husband and staff, ready to take me to the emergency room. I woke up an hour later choking but better. They sent us home with instructions to go to ER if it happens again! I'm so thankful it didn't happen in traffic! Six days later, I'm semi upright, weak and exhausted but moving forward. I have appointments and final tests postponed because of this reaction, so I will get my final results on Dec 26th. Hope to be back with you all soon. Thank you all so much for your prayers for myself and my sister, her surgery went so well and the doctors are amazed at her progress!
