Woke up to the news that one of my dearest friends passed away.
He was a dear man, servant of God, prayer warrior, evangelist, and pastor. [retired by the time I met him] We would talk every Sunday about theology and what God was doing in our lives and about our Evangelistic efforts. And in a sense he was like a grandfather to me.
I rejoice that he is home with our precious Lord, he is free from pain and free to worship God completely and fully. I am broken but rejoice. God is good! He's probably discussing theology with the apostle Paul. :-)
Please pray for his wife and daughter. [wife is my mentor, and both are best friends] both are distraught. For comfort and peace and clarity as they go through the next few days. [Funeral planning etc.] For his son and daughter-in-law [Christians] and his son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. [not Christians] My last conversation with him he was saying how much he longed for them to be saved. Please pray for their salvation.
Thank you all, it is with a heavy heart I write this, but blessed be our God who comforts us in affliction! Remember life is vapor, live for eternity.
God bless
Yours in Christ,
Delanie bee
Prayers for peace and strength. Please take care of yourselves. I know you have a lot a head of you, but you'll be able to handle it best if you don't try to do to much by yourself. And make time to rest. Give yourself time. Peace.
Praying for his family and all who are mourning and saddened by his passing. May God wrap you all in His comfort and peace.
I know you mourn with Hope Delanie, knowing the reunion is near, but seperation for the time being brings sadness. What a testimony to his life leaving you here with a heart that he and his wife were abole to pour into. Asking God to comfort you and his family and bring salvation to those who do not know Jesus yet. Absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, in this there is comfort. Hugs and prayers.
Praying for his friends, family and you
I’m so sorry for this loss to how earthly family and friends.
May the testimony of his life be a seed and watering to those he loved and blessed.
