My friend (Mike) was diagnosed with prostate cancer a couple years ago. They treated him and gave him the all clear. Praise God! He recently went in for a annual check up and told him that it is now bone cancer. The prognosis is not very good.

Mike has a lot of church hurt. He used to be in the praise team at a church we once went through. The church went through a split and Mike and his family basically gave up on organized church. He has taken his musical talents now to secular interests and that is what brings him joy.

I have been trying to be a blessing to him and his family and encourage them to come to church with us. I have also offered my friendship and fellowship, but it has not been received well yet.

I ask for your prayers of healing, and God to work in his life.
