On occasion I have put up prayer requests for one of my cousins, who had cancer; was in remission, and then had a broken leg/ankle. Well the cancer came back and we just got the news of her passing. Please pray for her husband, children, and family.
I do not know of her spiritual state before she passed. But my last contact with her was on Christmas, and I was able to preach the Gospel to her. And I trust in God's sovereignty, He is in control.
Thank you for the prayers in advance.
We do not grieve as those who have no hope. [1 Thessalonians 4:13]
The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. [Job 1:21]
But most importantly remember, “yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.” James 4:14 We should be all about Matthew 28, for we do not know when we, or anyone else will pass on; either to eternal glory or eternal punishment.
Matthew 28: 17-20 “And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
May God richly bless you all.
Your sister in Christ,

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
I am praying.
I'm so thankful you know and find comfort in the Word of God. Please know we are here for you and praying for you and your family. Asking God to use this time to draw her family close to Jesus, that their hearts would not grow bitter towards Him.
so sorry for your loss Delanie and will pray!
