🍁🍂 We are finally in the 'ber months and there is a bit of a burr in the air this morning already.
It's a new month, and another season of life. Time to turn on the air conditioner in the South and pull out the candles and sweaters and hot cocoa. Ok, maybe not that extreme, but I'm sure that GOd has worked in our lives, and we have some accounts to share of His love and provision.
If you have been here a long time, or just new to the Group, please share your Testimonies, and join us on BP Devo's Channel on Friday's 8:30 AM CST.
Thank you and Blessings,
Moni
It's a beautiful dress! So glad God provided the right person at the right time! He always does!
Praising God that a friend of mine and I are starting a book club. It's just her, me, and one of her friends. Lord willing this will be a great blessing, time of encouragement, and community building.
She lives near my grandparents, [dad's side] 45ish minutes away. So it gives me a reason to check on them. And saves the extra driving time to get their laundry. Their washer is still broken. But praising God I can minister to them by doing the laundry for them. And I can pray for their salvation while I fold it.
My Grandfather has been having some “good days”. He's always so happy to see me, and he likes that I “sneak” him sugary treats and goodies. He's spoiled me for over 16 years, now it is my turn to spoil him. :-) He absolutely loves history so we have great conversations about what I'm learning in School and he tells me all he knows about the topic, [He's a brilliant man] and recommends movies and books to go with it. That's another thing, finally I have someone who shares my love for westerns and John Wayne movies.
Oh And praising God, that yet again He spared me from getting my tail stung off. I had no clue that there was hornets in the compost pile. They were hidden under some leaves, I couldn't see them, so I just threw the bucket of scraps onto the pile....
Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! I squeaked and ran, slammed the door behind me.... What's the saying, “The Good Lord looks out for young-n's and fools.” Well, I qualify as both, so I guess I have double coverage... But it also says don't test God.
That's all I have to share, But I want to express how grateful I am for Mrs. Moni's women's study. I'm not able to join while they are live with school and all, but I get to catch the replay, and after a long day they are so refreshing and encouraging. Thank you so much! I know you didn't ask for the thanks but Thank you so much!

GOD IS SO GOOD.
He works thru our lives….always…. over the years.
Back in June, I received my my mother of the groom dress.
My friend told me of someone that is a good seamstress and could do Alterations. So I went to her because it was a little snug. Due to the Narrows seams, she could only take out the darts in the back to, help it fit a little better. So, I needed to lose a little weight. And I did. Praise God. Now I just need to keep off that four or 5 pounds.
She told me that when it got closer to the wedding, I could bring it to hurt up to 2-3 weeks before the wedding and she would be able to help me if needed. Well, other things needed to be tweaked a bit, and through a conversation that I know was divine intervention, with a stranger, I found out that one of my neighbors made all of her daughters prom dresses and homecoming dresses and their wedding dresses.
Sooo, I asked this neighbor if she could help me. I described what I needed to be tweaked a little bit, for the dress to fit even better and more comfortably.
She said she could. So, she came to my house, and I was able to take the dress on and off and off for her to tweak those things and figure out exactly what was the best plan. And she could do it creatively and sooo easily. She was only at my house for about an hour and a half.
She even had thread that would match my dress perfectly.
It now fits perfectly, and is ready for this special wedding.
And now for the rest of the story….. this neighbor is creative in many ways. She was the one that took my son’s high school senior pictures, in the fall of 2009..
Then, due to his allergy to peanuts, she made a very delicious and beautiful graduation cake for his high school graduation open house. And now, she is a little part of his wedding, by altering my mother of the groom dress.
God is good, all the time. And all the time, God is good.
And here is a picture of me in the dress, but edited for my privacy. 😊
On Saturday I was blessed to be able to go out to a lot of different stores. And was able to do some evangelism. Mostly just used tracts, but was able to have a really nice conversation with some cashiers.
Went in to get some chicken feed. And the cashier talked a little bit, Hi how are you doing? sort of thing. I asked her how her day was going and so on, she asked me if I had any plans for the day. So I told her about my sewing project. [a tool box organizer for my uncle] She was shocked that I could sew, asked what kinds of things I could make, so I showed her my skirt and told that I mostly sew clothing but I do a lot of different kinds of crochet. And gave one of the hair ties I crochet to hand out with tracts. She loved it! She called over the other cashier showed him, [he had long hair] and I had one more hair tie left and it was a manly color! [You can't tell me God doesn't care about the little things!] So I gave it to him. He was ecstatic! And thanked me so much because his had broken. Then I was able to share the Gospel with both of them. God is good!
Also there is a newish mini library box outside one of the stores I go to a lot. Was able to put some Gospel literature in there. So the Gospel is there for someone to find, and I didn't even have to talk! :-) I stutter when I get nervous so tracts and books are helpful. “God doesn't always call the equipped, but He always equips the called.” And a stutter is no excuse! Jesus is risen from the dead and the world has a Savior!
Was at a family party on Sunday, [one of my cousins is moving away. So we threw them a going away party.] Mom, my grandmother, and myself were the only Christians there. Had a really nice conversation with one of my uncles, which went into some spiritual topics. And was able to give my cousin a gift basket with a Bible, some information on the Gospel, a crocheted pumpkin, and a candle for her new house, also a handwritten letter.
She read the letter then open the gift and started to tear up when she saw the Bible, and was really thankful, she said that she would read the tract and her son was very interested in the Bible. God is so good and very gracious! Prayers appreciated for them as they move, and for their salvation. Thank you!
Oh I almost forgot... Hornets update: Well they've taken over the grapes, melons, and the pears... So yeah they can keep them I have enough jelly for the year. And now they're are two kinds of hornets and red wasps! Somethings you just don't mess with... I'll wait till a heavy frost to clear the area.
Hope this was an encouragement to you all,
Much love and many prayers.
Remember Matthew 28!

God is so good!!!
So many reasons to Praise the Lord!
First of all, thanking God that dad's new doctor seems to be working with him not just sending him on to the next round of doctors. And he is going to get Cortisone injections on Monday. Lord willing those will help him. He is not a good candidate for surgery and the fractures in his back are too low for a brace. So praying that this can actually help him.
Second, I wasn't really able to can while my grandfather was down with his strokes, but was able to freeze the produce in order to finish canning and preserving it later. So a lot of jelly making going on. God is good! And was able to buy apples from my neighbors so I could make my grandfather a large bath of applesauce to take his medications with and he loves it as a snack. And with the cores and peels was able to make enough apple cider for Thanksgiving dinner.
And that's another praise, we have apple trees, and I was checking daily for when the apples would turn, the day they did ripen, I already had obligations so I couldn't pick them. The next day I got the golf cart and the picker and went to get them. Now I parked it right next to the tree so I could shake it to save time. I couldn't hear that the tree was buzzing with hornets over the motor. And when I shut it off, thanking God I was able to hop a fence and run quick enough to get away from them, without getting my tail stung off. So I let them settle down, said a prayer started the golf cart as quick as I could and drove off. Not a sting one. Praise God!
And I am extremely thankful to God that a lot of the wood towards the bottom of the woodpile is small enough to just stack! No splitting needed! That may seem like a silly praise, but I am too small to swing an ax, [I weigh about 95ish pounds] and with a wedge and 3 pound sledge hammer it takes about 3-5 minutes per split in a good log with no knots. God is so good! And winter doesn't stop coming just because dad has a broken back... But God is gracious!
And about a week ago I asked for prayers for wisdom in an evangelism opportunity, God is so very gracious and I was able to clearly share the Gospel with a friend of mine. Please pray for her salvation.
My grandmother [dad's side], her heart seems to be softening some, Please continue to pray for her salvation as well and my grandfather's. Been blessed to be spending a lot more time with them lately. Their washing machine is broken, so i've been able to serve by doing their laundry for them. Lord willing soon will have an opportunity to share the Gospel with them. Our conversations have been leaning more and more towards spiritual things and that is a promising sign with them. God is good!
My grandmother [mom's side] who is a Christian, is doing really well. God is good! And she just celebrated her 81st birthday. And I am so blessed to be able to spend a lot of time with her lately.
And my grandmom, [dad's stepmother] and I have been writing letters back and forth to each other, we share Scriptures, songs and poems with one another. Such a blessing!
Also today was able to talk to my pen pal on the phone, and we were mutually encouraged in the Lord.
Well, words fail me to praise the Lord for all He has done, but these are some of the ways God is working in my life. And I praise Him for His steadfast Love endures forever, and nothing can separate us from His love! May this be an encouragement to you.
