BP DevoAfter serving over 40 years in church ministry I've stepped down from the pulpit to continue serving on a different field. We are homesteading a small farm in south Texas with relocation plans to move a bit further north. I'm also an author with several books in print under my real name, Tyler Woods. Another hat I wear is Preparedness Author/Conference Speaker and from time to time I travel and sign some books.
Our life is anything but linear. You never know what the next video will cover but this life of ours (as Sgt. Schultz would say) is "very interesting."

Here is a picture of the new truck. The color doesnāt come out exactly right in photos. Different Lighting changes the color. I think this picture makes it look a little bit grayish when itās not. But it gives you an idea of the brownish color it is.
Praise God for a good timing over and over and over.
GODās TIMING. šā¤ļø
Praise Report
Last week,Ā when I left home for bible study, I heard a noise I had not heard before.Ā Since it was my first time hearing it, I ignored it .Ā I was 1/4 mile from home when the dash messagesĀ told be my 2 rear tires were a little low on air. So, I went back home to put air in my tires.Ā I messaged my pastorās wife to say I would be late, IF no more issues happier after adding air to my tires.
(Godās timing #1)
A few months ago, our pastor added 30 minutes of prayer time to begin at 10:00 am, then start bible study at 10:30, which had previously begun at 10:00.Ā Without this change I would have just a stayed home under the old schedule, because I would have missed half of Bible study.
Okā¦.back to the noiseā¦as I head back it.Ā I heard the same noise once when I was 1/3 of the way to Bible study. So I decided just to keep going because it did not seem like a big issue, as I prayed and trusted God to go with me and keep me safe.Ā When I pulled into the driveway at church, them into a parking spot, I could hear more of a noise. Still not too concerning but definitely something that needed to be checked and likely something repaired.
(Godās timing #2)
There is an older couple at my church that attends Bible study almost every Wednesday. Sometimes her husband attends Bible study, and sometimes he does not.Ā Praise God, he was at Bible study last Wednesday. He is the previous owner of the garage where we take our vehicles to be repaired, and have for many years. He still works there on occasion, But has sold the business to one of his original mechanics. So when Bible study was done, he told me to pull my truck up on the cement, so he could look underneath it. He guessed at what the repair would be and also pointed out that our frame is in bad shape on both sides,Ā directly across from each other.
He and his wife followed me to the mechanic garage to drop off my truck so it could be looked at, and to make sure I make safely, and then give me a ride home. What a blessing they were to me.
The actual repair needed was not what he thought it was. It was a wheel bearing that at massively failed. They repaired it with cheaper part, so we could drive it for a while. But, put a note on the bill/paper that it āshould not be drivenā.Ā They did not say it could not be driven. So, we will drive it carefully and short distances, at least until the gas tank is down to a quarter of a tank, because right now, itās over 3/4 full.
Godās timing #3)
If this had not been discovered soon, there is a pretty good chance We would have been hauling our small fifth wheel camper home from being stored at my momās house. Ā I suspect that couldāve turned into a fully broken frame, and only God knows what else. Therefore, Godās timing was perfect.
And now, I am waiting and expecting (as we research and shop) Godās timing NUMBER 4,Ā to bring us the perfect truck at the perfect time to replace my beautiful blue truck.
Andā¦to addā¦
I thought the mechanic garage was going to tell me that the truck could be driven for the next several months while we look for a replacement. When they told me they thought it should be replaced very soon, I shed several tears as I drove it the 6 miles to home.Ā We have had that truck for 12 or 13 years.
Change is hard, but Godās timing is always perfect.
Okay so I went outside to watch the eclipse. And I was praying while it was happening. And my 2 neighbors came outside & we all started talking. Well I decided to tell them about all of the cities that were named Nineveh & why that was so significant. And I told them that I believe that this is a sign from the Lord Jesus to repent & come back to their 1st love which is him. And they were listening to everything that I said. And I so grateful for the opportunity to witness to them bcuz I don't want anyone to go to hell. And one of my neighbors wants to do bible study with me. I'm so excited & it's all bcuz of the Lord Jesus Christ Almighty & his Beautiful gift that's free for all!
Praising God, that a door has been opened to share the Gospel. [pen pal sort of thing, with one of my cousins. Whom I've never met.] Lord willing I'll be able share with her the glorious Gospel of Salvation. If you would pray for me to have wisdom, and for her heart to soften. Thank you. Yours in Christ, Delanie š
