Today's devo reminded me of a poem that I wrote awhile back. I pray it is a blessing and an encouragement.

Kill The Cowardice

Lord, the world is going insane,

And so many use Your Name in vain;

Been given over to a depraved mind,

No form of morality can anyone find!

We show our pride on full display,

Your Holy law we refuse to obey;

So much blood have we shed,

So many babies are now dead!

Oh Jesus! You alone are our hope,

Strengthen Your Bride to hold the rope;

You have promised the Gospel will prevail,

And the darkness the Church will assail!

But we hide inside our doors

And when we're told to “Go Therefore” we're bored;

Oh Father! kill the cowardice in me,

And let me live for Your glory!

Make me like Jesus, Oh dear Lord I pray,

And make me able Your Word to obey;

I cannot change what is going on out there,

But at home Your Lordship I must declare!

The smallest things done in Your name,

In view of eternity are never done in vain;

Please make me faithful where I am,

For I know You work all things according to Your plan.

Your character is perfect, Your faithfulness pure,

And You will never forsake for Your Promises are sure;

I need not fret what evil may bring,

For victory belongs to the Most High King!

The world has smooth gone nuts, with its drag and etc. But Jesus is the Risen King and He is reigning over the world's insanity! The Gospel is the only cure and He chose us, His people to declare it. May we serve Him now as never before! Remeber the darker the World is the brighter the Gospel shines.
