Welcome everyone! We all just heard about the plans for the new Friday session with Pastor Woods! I for one am thankful he is willing to help give Brad n Christa some more time together and that he is willing to help draw this community closer.
It is a good opportunity for us all to get to know each other better.
Share your thoughts in the comments so we can get this ball rolling and keep it in prayer that it would bring glory to our God.
Maybe these will help you share:
Please feel free to share a story of how God is using you for His glory.
2. Share a Testimony
3. Share a Praise of something that God is doing in your life.
This will give Pastor Woods, aka Bulletproof Pastor, some things to share on Fridays.
So I've been in and out of lives because I’m still in the hospital (3wks today) but God is amazing. He's seen me through fights with doctors, stresses at home and arguments with some people who thrive on drama (I personally am not a drama fan tbh) but God has seen me through it and I’m immensely grateful for his mercy.
I’d like to share some praises with you all. I mentioned it once in a Live Chat but it was too much to share there. 2023 has been what we call a roller coaster year going through Surgeries, Cancer and Chemo and Radiation. Several people who do not have a relationship with Jesus have mentioned how strong and stoic I was through this ordeal. It was a perfect opportunity for me to share that what they saw was trust and peace with which my Savior filled my heart and soul. Knowing that no matter the outcome, I am my Beloved’s and my Beloved is mine.
I was also able to share with them the army of believers that were praying for me. Friends, neighbors, family, church members and my brothers and sisters in the Lord, here at Everyday Outreach. God used you and answered your prayers to give me strength to keep going through this trial. I praise Him for this Communities kindness and diligence and God for His mercy.
He has done great things! Another one of those great things was Jesus being there in the night watches when things were exceptionally difficult. His Word and His Word in song came to mind as I struggled for another step or moment of rest to bring comfort. Even to this day as I wait for all my long hair to grow back after falling out back in August. It is discouraging at times but my husband reminds me that it is only temporary. Last but not least, I praise God for my husband. He has been by my side the entire time, in sickness and in health for 41 years! He’s turned out to be a fantastic nurse while working full time from home and taking me to all my appointments.
My prayer has been and will continue to be that God reaches out and blesses your hearts and lives and families for the love you have shared with us. Thank you 😊
🎼My help comes from the Lord who made Heaven and Earth.
Psa 56:4 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?
Hello! My name is Krista, you all may know me better as CooperDWee23 on the YouTube. I wanted to share a praise report about my husband. He has always known of God but this past year or so he has really grown in knowing WHO God is. He's in the Word most days, has joined a men's group at our church this year and agreed to be on the board of elders. I'm so grateful to be able to see His work in our lives. Our marriage has never been better and even though we're going through some tough stuff with his work, he's been able to not shut down as he would have in the past. So, thanks for letting me share!
Hey there, Martha here. I'm 46 saved by grace thru faith. Married momma of 3 sons. My oldest son is 25 & I gave him up for adoption when he was born to a Christian family. My middle son is 19 & the Lord Jesus Christ Almighty saved us both. I was 21 & newly married to my husband of 24 years. We were homeless & doing heroin really bad. We lived on the streets of Philly & Camden. And one day I cried out to the Lord & asked him for help to stop using. I knew that I couldn't do it on my own & I needed his help. And literally the very next day I got into a fist fight with an off duty cop & I got arrested. And when I finally got to the jail they did a pregnancy test & it came back positive. I was really really sick I'm at high risk when I'm pregnant. And my body basically rejects the baby the whole time I'm pregnant. After 3 days they took me to the hospital to see if I could get methadone to help me with the withdrawal. But it was too late after 3 days it doesn't matter hoq much heroin you take it's out of your system in 3 days. But you still go thru withdrawals & it's hell on earth. I wanted to die to make the pain go away. And like I said I'm at high risk so I get morning sickness morning, noon & night. So kicking cold turkey was the worst thing I've ever gone thru. I was facing a 5 flat for the fight that I got into with the cop. And that would've meant that I'd give birth shackled to the hospital bed & then they'd take my baby away from me. However the Lord Jesus had different plans for me. He made sure that I'd get out & have my baby before my mom-mom passed away. She got to see her first granddaughter get clean & sober & have a baby. That was such a blessing. See not only did the Lord Jesus Christ Almighty save me but he saved my unborn son. The Lord has helped me a lot more but this is what I wanted to share with y'all. We serve a Loving, Beautiful & Good Father🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
(background, I'm Jennifer Wright, married 31 years to Greg and we have 2 kids. we adopted our son from guatemala in 2008 at 8 months old and is now 16, and our bio-daughter is going to be 30 yr old. Both Greg and i were raised in Christian families and active in our churches) About 8 years ago, God called me to start a online bible study with women but not for the reason you think. He called me to do this for accountability to get deeper in his Word. We started on Periscope and moved to FB and now are on zoom. We were having trouble with FB restricting us so I moved us to Mighty Networks for a way to communicate like Brad has here. We have a group on there with amazing information on studies and other things we share. I have been so blessed by these women across North America. I told the ladies that I pictured it as a group of women meeting around a huge round table at church to study two days a week, so we can sharpen one another. We used to meet 3 days a week and now we are 2 days a week (due to me homeschooling my teen son) but all the books of the bible and themes we have studied has just blessed me and taken my relationship with the Lord to new depths. I was raised in the church and Christian family but this has been such a blessing to keep me in his Word. We keep a group text for 24/7 to reach out to one another for when we need prayer, or just feeling low and need encouragement and prayer, etc and to share Praises. I cannot imagine my life without all my sisters in Christ. I've seen how it has helped me be a better wife and mother and sister. When I joined Brad's study (back when he was in Ohio..about 7 years ago?) it just gave me another form of accountability daily where i was being fed. I have been able to see over the years why God called me to be accountable, especially how I was in a deeper relationship with God when my daughter at Easter of 2021 would tell us for the past 7 years she had been in a relationship with another woman, and I could see how God knew I would need to be able to focus on him, lean on him, and pray like never before. Take us to last year, my dad passed away on jan 5, 2023 and my daughter married that woman on Oct.31st. When God is calling you to do something, you may not understand at the time why but TRUST him. I'm so thankful that He called because I cannot imagine life without all these wonderful ladies and how they have rallied for one another all these years and me. I'm so thankful for the Brad & Tyler LIVE because it brings me joy and it reminds me of me with my ladies getting to share with one another. Thanks ya'll. Hugs!
Could not have said it better myself. THANK YOU MONI for leading the charge here, we all really do appreciate it!
