Moni your song was so beautiful and heartfelt! Thank you so much to you and your husband for creating it for us to enjoy and learn this scripture. My teen son even was like.. That is so good mom.
We would love to make more. It's just my health that has stopped us from 35 years of music ministry. We have moved into a different season of life in the last two years. It has been such a blessing to come along side WYSIWYG. It is similar to what we have done over the years in music recordings, podcasts, and I had just set up a video channel for Domestic Lady videos to help younger moms and homemakers, but Christa does very well at that. Between downsizing twice, moving across country, getting Covid, then Cancer...I had to slow down. Now that I am in the same time zone as WYSIWYG, it makes it easier on me to come along side.
As for this song, the process, as anything God has me comes back to when I was 10 yers old. I had just been saved at a Baptist VBS when my Dad died. I remember crying out to God, why, why, why? One night, what do I do now came out instead of why. Since then it's been , ok what do we do now Lord? I've followed the bread crumbs ever since. Sometimes I look back and wonder, how did we get here? However, it's much better to keep looking forward to the work ahead and the finish line!
Thanks so much for the prayers! Blessings to you and your son! Lord, willing, there are more songs in us.
So thankful the Psalm Song is helping you learn Scripture and that you enjoy it. Good to hear that a younger generation thinks it's so good! 😊
Thanks for your hugs and prayers. We knew this was going to be a difficult time and for the most, a secluded time. WYSIWYG has been an answer to my prayers for a digital community since I don't get much while chemo knocks down my immune system.
My husband, also named Brad, and I had already planned on recording more music this winter during my seclusion. "Just Brad's" invite to share with Orlogos was the push to get started. However I could only work on it on my good days.
My Brad played the electric and bass guitar tracks and I sang and produced the rest with midi.
I had just finished and emailed it to "Just Brad" the night before. I had no idea he would put it up so quickly! As you asked online I will post more about it here on the website. Blessings 🤗
