May we use this day to celebrate what God has done in the past. Love America as She was, but not be content with her idolatry now. Let us earnestly pray that God would be pleased to grant reformation and revival to us; In spite of us. And that the America in the future would far exceed that which was in the past. That we once again would be a shining light to all the nations.

This is a poem I wrote awhile back about America. I pray it is a blessing.

Heal Our Land

O Lord, all we do is spit in Your face,

Still You offer us Your Saving grace;

We slaughter babies by the millions,

How far we've fallen since the Pilgrims!

We make Sodom and Gomorrah seem good,

The evil we do Tyre and Sidon never would;

We don't even know what is a man,

To save us now only You can!

We have cursed Your name and mocked Your Word,

All we deserve is Your wrath and sword.

O Father, For Jesus' sake,

Save many people and our hardened hearts break!

Your Gospel shall go forth It is Your command;

Please O Lord, Heal our land!
